Digital Culture and Design
Description:
(3 credits) This course provides students with a critical foundation in telling digital stories through web-based languages HTML and CSS. Students learn to write HTML and CSS, and design story-based web pages through local coding practices and processes, thinking carefully and expansively about how people access web-based information, and how to ensure that everyone, regardless of device, bandwidth, or ability, can access that information. Through hands-on, critical making practices, students gain important skills and knowledge in conceptualizing, testing, designing, writing, and coding web-based narrative. Offered as needed
