Graduate art students will focus on creating artwork using various drawing and painting media not limited to Charcoal, Graphite, Pastel, Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor, and Multimedia. Students will apply theoretical content into the creation of various art pieces that meet their goals discussed with the Graduate Thesis Committee. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1.Create a theoretical and project-based plan in drawing and/or painting that will express improvement of skills in art that can be exhibited. 2.Devise a drawing and/or painting project plan in conjunction with the Graduate Thesis Committee. 3.Manage and execute the project plan in agreement with standards set forth by the Graduate Thesis Committee. 4.Arrange and be prepared for regular meetings with the Graduate Thesis Committee, where student work will be assessed. Prerequisite: Instructor Permission.
