This course is designed to further develop students' conversational and communication skills. The purpose of the course is to teach students conversational techniques and strategies, to improve students' listening and note?taking abilities, to strengthen students' grasp of English grammar and vocabulary, and to raise students' awareness of the need to monitor their own pronunciation. Pre-Requisite(s): Appropriate SLCC placement or successful completion of TESL 1230.
