Introduces the history of museums and historic sites, and the relationship between these institutions and public audiences. Explores the tools that public historians use to interpret and present the past in museum and historic site settings. None of the Public History courses (HIST 352, HIST 353, HIST 354, HIST 355, HIST 356, HIST 357) may be counted towards the Social Studies Education/History Track. Only one may be counted towards the History, BA.
