This course provides an overview of early childhood practitioner's role in meeting and responding to the diverse needs of young children and families. Diverse family dynamics, planning for children's health and wellness, exceptional development and interdisciplinary collaboration will be explored in the context of establishing a family-centered early childhood setting.
