This course provides an introduction to the collision repair industry along with the tools, equipment, and processes involved. The retrieval of repair information using on-line, book, and computer-based resources will be discussed. This course meets the requirements set forth by the ASE Education Foundation regarding the fundamentals of shop safety and environmental hazards. Students will learn to perform tasks related to the sustainment of a safe work environment. The student will understand and apply environmental and personal safety standards. (Prerequisites: NG Reading score of 235 or higher) (1.5 hrs lec/1 hr lab/0 hrs OJT)
