Topics include natural selection, genetic variation, macro- and microevolution, population genetics, evolutionary stable strategies, species concepts, biodiversity, extinction, reproductive strategies, population dynamics, the ecological niche concept, predation, competition, mutualism, parasitism, coevolution, biogeography, disturbance ecology, and ecosystem structure and function. 3 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab.
