This seminar is an inter-disciplinary exploration into theories, issues, controversies, and methodological approaches to topics in the field of Black Studies. It will prepare students to conduct independent research. Students will learn what to include in research paper, how to analyze and present their observations/findings, write an abstract, a bibliography etc. Students will develop their projects based on the skills and knowledge throughout the semester as well as prior learning in the Black Studies sequence.
