This course gives students a basic understanding of the estimator's place in the construction process. Students will learn about the basic layout of contract documents and the fundamentals of estimating, including take-offs of materials used in light-frame structures. There will be emphasis on accurate analyses of working drawings. Students should have a basic understanding of construction methods and techniques. Prerequisites: ARCH1105, ARCH1111
