In this class the farmer,agri-business person will become knowledgeable in the use of global positioning systems and the utilization of this technology in agriculture. The use of GPS will be useful in compiling information and data which is geographically referenced that will aid in future management decisions. The student will gain a working knowledge of how global positioning systems work and learn applications for its use.
