In this class the farmer or agri-business person will explore and expand their knowledge of the subject of Geographic information Systems. The use of geographic information systems will be used to evaluate present management practices and compile information and pertinent data which is geographically referenced that will aid in future management decisions. The student will gain a working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems and their applications in agricultural use.
