This course covers the theory and techniques necessary for assembly of electronic cables, connectors, and equipment through proper utilization of standard/specialized tools and equipment. Different cable connector requirements are standard/specialized tools and equipment. Different cable connector requirements are studied. Soldering and crimping of components and connectors is practiced. Fiber optic technology and basic telephone wiring will be studied. Prerequisites: ELTR2311
