In this clinical course, the Practical Nursing students will care for selected patients in specialty areas (med/surg, psychosocial nursing, pediatrics and obstetrics) to afford them a well-rounded experience. Students will implement patient centered cares learned in prior theory and lab courses. Students will continue to use LPN scope of practice as a guide to implement a safe and effective care environment, and medication administration will be safe. Students will demonstrate professional identity by being dependable and accountable for actions. Must earn a grade of "C" or better in this course to proceed. (Prerequisite(s): PRNS 1484 and PRNS 1531 with a grade of "C" or better.) 3C/0/3/0
