This introductory course will cover shop safety practices, the theories and concepts necessary for an understanding of basic oxyacetylene welding, cutting and brazing processes. An emphasis will be put on safety practices while using the oxy-acetylene equipment. Students will also be exposed to manual plasma and carbon arc cutting.
