This course is required for students in certain trade programs. This course is designed to help students develop the numerical skills needed to perform tasks in their trade. Topics in this course include whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, ratios and proportions, plane geometry, word problems relevant to the trades, use of the TI-36 calculator (or equivalent), and the metric system. (Placement into this course will be according to college assessment score or successful completion of MATH 0742 with a grade of "C" or better). 3C/2/1/0
