In this course additional topics and skills are taught that relate to the professional scope of practice for the graduate practical nurse, demonstrating the progression from education to practice. Students will work in a clinical setting applying the knowledge, skills, attitude and the practice of safe effective care expected of the Practical Nursing graduate. They have progressed from a novice level to an accomplished level in the areas of communication, teamwork, problem-solving and the practice of safe effective care. In depth NCLEX-PN preparation is also emphasized in this course. Must earn a grade of "C" or better in this course to complete the program. (Prerequisite(s): PRNS 1425, PRNS 1436, PRNS 1481, PRNS 1484, PRNS 1483, PRNS 1521, PRNS 1524, PRNS 1531, and PRNS 2410 with a grade of "C" or better.) 3C/2/1/0
