The aim of this course is to gain a broader understanding of music as worldwide phenomenon through the study of selected musical traditions and cultures of the world. This course will concentrate on the development and historical background of the music, the introduction of typical musical instruments and most well-known musicians of each region, and the relationship between music and the society.
