This course covers the identification, use and care of precision measuring devices used in manufacturing. Students will learn through lecture and lab how to perform accurate measurements in a repeatable manner. Standard hand devices as well as manual and programmable coordinate measuring machines, vision systems, and optical comparators will be addressed.
