This course will study the influence of cultural differences on communication from both the sender and receiver of information. The course views the human communication process as it is influenced by nationality, ethnicity, linguistic development, and gender. The course will explore the ways in which culture can shape the view of "reality" held by its members and influence communication patterns and cross-cultural relationships.
