An introduction to Spanish based on real-life situations as well as to various aspects of Hispanic societies and cultures. Comprehension and basic speaking skills are emphasized. Some reading and writing is required. The overall goal of this course is to provide students with the linguistic foundation necessary to later achieve proficiency in the Spanish language.
