Introduction to Engineering is a broad-based course designed to help students understand the field of engineering and engineering technology and the career pathways. Students are introduced to engineering fundamentals and the knowledge and skills necessary for success as professional engineers and engineering technologies. Topics include an overview of the engineering profession, engineering design, manufacturing, use of computer packages, and technical communication. Engineering graphics and solid modeling will be presented including the use of a solid modeling software.
