This course introduces the student to basic respiratory care therapeutics including: oxygen administration, aerosol delivery devices, bronchial hygiene methods and lung hyperinflation techniques. Specific equipment, indications, contraindications, and adverse reactions associated with each therapeutic procedure are covered. Must earn a grade of "C" or better in this course to proceed.
