This course introduces students to Somali language and culture. Students will develop basic competencies in reading, vocabulary, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening. This class provides the linguistic foundation necessary to achieve proficiency in the Somali language in future semesters. No previous knowledge of Somali is necessary.
