This course is designed to transition the learner's knowledge of billing and coding concepts to billing and coding in a hospital environment. The course provides an introduction to the hospital environment, billing process, and reimbursement methodologies. Discussion on the relationship between billing, coding, documentation, claims forms and reimbursement is presented to provide an overall view of the connection between various elements in the billing process. Prerequisites: ADMM1150, ADMM1160, ADMM1165.
