Topics include the cultural, religious, economic, political, ecological, and social aspects of World Civilizations. This course will examine the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome, the Islamic World, Medieval Europe, West Africa, China, India, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and the Pre-Columbian Americas.
