This course covers most of the operational objectives and some technician objectives for Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, and Trench & Excavation Rescue as set out in National Fire Protection Agency 1670, Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents. Students will demonstrate the ability to work in these types of incidents from the operational perspective. This is a hands-on class and will be limited in size to maintain a safe teaching and working environment. Prerequisites: None.
