Covers critical thinking and hands on adaptions to work safely and effectively with clients who are in, , or who have undergone, cancer treatment. Students able to practice adapting for short term, long term and late effects of cancer treatment as well as gathering relevant client information, even with a very short intake time. This class culminates in a client clinic where students have the opportunity to provide a 60-minute massage to a person affected by cancer. This 24-hour training (24 CEUs) is designed for the licensed massage therapist.
