This course is designed to introduce students to the juncture of law and science how things become evidence, and how courts decide what item of evidence or testimony is admissible in court. Students will follow evidence from the crime scene into the laboratory and into court. Areas of discussion include forensic anthropology, computer forensics and the role of behavioral science in the criminal justice system. The course will be a base from which students will prepare for King's College's courses in forensic biology, forensic chemistry and forensic psychology.
