This course presents the student with a comprehensive study of the human body's responses to exercise. Topics include cardiovascular and respiratory response to exercise, principles of training and conditioning and the resulting adaptations of the human body, basic training principles, energy production, metabolism, body composition, and muscular adaptations to exercise. Pre-requisite -A mimimum of a C grade in BIOL 219
