Description:
An application of the principles of equilibrium, electrochemistry, and basic statistics to quantitative chem-ical analysis. The laboratory utilizes gravimetric, volumetric, potentiometric methods of analysis with an emphasis on data interpretation, accuracy, and precision. Students who withdraw from CHEM 243 will automatically be removed from CHEM 243L unless permission to remain in the lab is granted by the Department Chairperson. Prerequisite: CHEM 114. 3 lecture and 4 laboratory hours.
