Students will understand the importance of crash investigation and law enforcement's role in crash investigation, including traffic incident management, diagramming and mapping, evidence from the vehicle, evidence from the roadway, crash physics skid tests, calculating drag factors, crash photography, and narrative writing. This is a closed course available only to students enrolled in the Patrol Peace Officer AAS.
