Topics of study include Wastewater treatment types, Wastewater Land application, Wastewater activated sludge basics, and Wastewater advanced topics. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: Understand the types of wastewater treatment - ponds & lagoons, trickling filters, rotating biological contact; Understand solids handling and disposal; Understand activated sludge; Demonstrate a safe and clean work environment.
