The purpose of this course is to provide intensive instruction in advanced conducting techniques, including the conducting of recitative, opera, and major choral/orchestral works. It is assumed that students enrolled in this course will have completed basic courses in conducting and be prepared for the challenges of conducting difficult passages from standard literature that present unique problems.
