This course focuses on the theories and skills needed to implement orthotic treatment plans that require control of the knee and hip joints. Lab projects, guided by an orthotic prescription, include custom, metal system, knee-ankle-foot orthosis fabrication. Fabrication steps include patient tracings, delineation, component selection, tibial torsion, metal contouring, joint alignment, and final assembly. Prerequisite(s): Instructor consent
