This course introduces topics in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Students will engage in learning how to read prints with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing applications. Each of the geometric controls will be examined so the students may determine the allowable variation in form and size between part features. The ANSI Y14.5M standard will be part of the overall instruction. Using precision equipment, most of the geometric controls will be inspected to print specifications.
