This 'boot camp' presents an integrated course of knowledge and exercises to prepare technicians for basic diagnosis and repair of automatic transmissions. The course covers the basic principles of automatic transmission powerflow which includes usage of the range reference chart. The class also includes the teardown of an automatic transmission which will allow participants to inspect the transmission for possible problems. This course also allows participants to understand and practice basic diagnostic procedures on and off vehicle by participating in hands-on exercises as well as instructor led group activities.
