This course concentrates on identification and interpretation of spinal orthotic designs based on related prescription information. Projects include the fabrication of thermoplastic lumbo-sacral orthoses (LSOs) and thoraco-lumbo-sacral orthoses (TLSOs) that control specific areas of the spine. All projects are finished according to prescription criteria and ready for patient fitting. Prerequisite(s): Instructor consent
