Develops further the four language skills through extensive and intensive practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Russian language is taught in its cultural contexts, including history, culture, diversity, and comparison with studentsGCO native communication cultures. The course develops communicative language proficiency at the Intermediate-Low and Intermediate-Mid sublevels (according to ACTFL proficiency scale) as well as develops the ability to understand and appreciate Russian-speaking cultures.
