Topics include the chemical structures, functions, and metabolic pathways of macronutrients and micronutrients, anabolic and catabolic reactions, enzymatic and hormonal regulations, gene-nutrient and protein interactions, and metabolic conditions/diseases. Digestion, absorption, transport, storage, and excretion of nutrients are examined.
