Provides a deeper understanding and critical appraisal of nursing research for application to evidence-based practice.n++ Application of the steps of evidence-based nursing practice is stressed.n++ The proper formation of Population Intervention Comparison Outcome Time (PICOT) questions, learning how to search relevant data bases for evidence, critically appraising the evidence, and synthesizing research findings are emphasized.n++ Development of a plan for implementation of the evidence and/or generating additional evidence to improve nursing practice is addressed.
