Develops the mathematical and computational skills necessary to apply mathematical techniques to problems in the health sciences. Topics include fundamental concepts of algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, measurements, functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations and data fitting. This includes a 1-credit recitation aimed at providing just-in-time review of concepts in support of the content in MAT120, some of which may include solving equations, unit conversions, basic statistics, and functions.
