Description:
Provides students with a fundamental understanding of human anatomy and how the laws of physics affect body tissue and motion. Emphasis is placed on kinematic and kinetic analysis of common movements in physical activity and exercise. Students will learn to identify and describe various phases of motion and explain the mechanical significance of each in producing desired outcomes. Laboratory sessions are integrated into meeting times throughout the semester.
