Provides an opportunity for students to partially fulfill program service requirements, become immersed in direct service experiences with deaf/hard of hearing individuals, and to further skills in citizenship. Offered during the fall and spring semesters during the academic year. Co-curricular Experiences associated with involvement in the student organization SLED (Students Linked to the Education of the Deaf), operated within the Department of Exceptionality Programs. This course earns one GEP toward Goal 10 Citizenship in general education.
