Links academic content and theory to clinical practice and extends preparation of graduate students in all aspects of clinical management in a school setting (PreK-12). Graduate students provide services to school-aged students with communication and swallowing disorders at external sites within the professional community. Between CSD584 and CSD586, Medical Field Experience, students earn approximately 250 clinical clock hours toward certification in speech-language pathology as required by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association through supervised clinical experiences.
