Increases the student's breadth and flexibility as a programmer and is a prerequisite for most 300 and 400 level courses in computer science. CS230 emphasizes object-oriented programming and design. Topics include: recursive programming, generic programming, database programming, concurrent programming, network programming, web programming with servlets, Java Server Paces and XML.
