The course covers major periods and trends in art history, including but not limited to Renaissance, Baroque, Realism, Impressionism, Expressionism, Modernism, Cubism, Surrealism, Dadaism, and Post-Modernism. Students examine the relationship between individual works of art, the artists who created them and evolving major cultural, social, and political trends
