Description:
Engage in and explore two- and three-dimensional fiber art methods and techniques with a variety of fabrics, fibers and other materials. Course content includes but, is not limited to: felting: Nuno, wet, needle; fiber sculpture and installation: twining, coiling, three-dimensional sewing, Foss Shape; and wearable art: fabric manipulation and sublimation. Studio sessions include extended interaction with fiber art materials and methods, group and individual critiques, demonstrations and lecture.
