Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is key to modern web browsing. Hypertext Markup Language is the essential language that browsers utilize to present information on a webpage. In this course, HTML is introduced along with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) which improvs page layout and style. Students learn the fundamentals of HTML and CSS in this course. Modern web development utilizes these tools to make the web development process more efficient, which results in greater productivity. It is vital to have a good understanding of how to set up and implement a modern web development environment. Students will gain hands-on experience building simple web pages with hypertext links and graphics. Included is an overview of techniques that enhance and facilitate page creation. Students will learn how to share and manipulate data on the web and in applications.
