Description: The purpose of this course is to further explore the principles of marketing and how these concepts relate to the context of sport. Major components to be stressed will be the uniqueness of marketing sport, the sport product's attributes, application of the four P's of marketing to the sport setting, sport marketing's fifth P, sales and customer service in sport, and the interaction and coordination of these marketing principles. Prerequisites: SPMA Major, Grade of C or better in SPMA 240 and SPMA 245, Cumulative GPA of 2.5. Notes: Offered in spring. Lab Fee: $70.
