This experiential learning course engages students in application, synthesis and evaluation of knowledge and skills obtained in their academic studies. The course also provides the opportunity to begin transition from student to graduate nurse. Professional growth and contribution to the nursing profession is emphasized. Students complete a 135 hr clinical practicum with a Registered Nurse preceptor and develop an evidence-based project related to their clinical experience.
